Joe's musical life started out in performance, as a guitarist. However, after developing an affinity with synthesisers and the sonic richness of orchestral music, he decided his skills and passions would be best suited to composing.

As a composer, Joe is well versed in writing for orchestra and  pop ensembles, whilst also excelling in electronic and ambient mediums. Nothing excites him more than being pushed out his his comfort zone to compose innovative, contemporary music.

Joe studied Popular Music (BMus) at the University of Huddersfield  and recently graduated in Music and Audiovisual Media (MA) at the University of Liverpool.
